The Church of Saint Sixtus Pope dates back to the 16th century. It was rebuilt in 1962 after a cyclone in 1961 caused severe damage. The interior features three naves, separated by columns made of faux alabaster. Inside, visitors can admire frescoes (painted in the 1960s) that cover the entire vaulted ceiling, a 17th-century holy water font, a finely crafted 18th-century altar, and a statue of Our Lady of the Rosary, also from the 17th century. On the outside stands the monumental bell tower, composed of three very low tiers.
